Restorations

At LiveWell Dental, we use modern, tooth-coloured composite fillings to restore teeth affected by decay, cracks, or minor fractures. These restorations not only strengthen the tooth but also blend in naturally with your smile. Composite restorations are done when a portion of the tooth has been damaged — commonly due to decay (a cavity) — and needs to be removed and replaced with a strong, durable material. The goal is to preserve as much natural tooth structure as possible while restoring function and appearance.

What to expect during the procedure:

  • We begin by gently removing the decayed or damaged portion of the tooth.

  • The area is then cleaned and prepared for bonding.

  • A tooth-coloured composite resin is applied in layers and carefully shaped to match your tooth’s natural contours.

  • Finally, the resin is hardened with a special curing light and polished for a smooth, natural finish.

Composite fillings are a conservative and effective way to restore your teeth and prevent further damage or sensitivity.

In some cases, other restorative treatments such as crowns, bridges, or dental implants may be recommended to provide additional strength or replace missing teeth. Our team will guide you through the most suitable option for your individual needs.

We proudly care for patients across Carrum, Patterson Lakes, Bonbeach, Seaford, Chelsea, Edithvale, Aspendale, and surrounding areas. Book an appointment with LiveWell Dental today to restore your smile with confidence.
